In order to celebrate the 67th anniversary of the establishment of the Young Pioneers in China as well as the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Red Army’s Long March, on the afternoon of 13th October, at the Lecture Hall, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Young Pioneers Group from the Primary Section held the themed celebration activities entitled ‘Chanting the Traditional Classics& Carrying Forward the Elegant Demeanor of Our Young Pioneers’. In attendance were President Madam Huang Wenli, some school leaders in addition to committee representatives from the Parent Council with the Primary Department.
During the conference, we announced the list of newly-elected squadron instructors& counselors of the League Committee.
Moreover, our students put on rich& colorful artistic performances. For instance, on the one hand, students from Grade 1 to Grade 3 sang patriotic songs. On the other hand, students from Grade 4 to Grade 6 recited traditional poetry. Therefore, all teachers& parents present were deeply impressed by our children ’s liveliness, confidence and brightness.
On the whole, this informative event played a positive& stimulative role in leading our young pioneers to inherit and carry forward the glorious traditions of the Young Pioneers Group.
